Imperial Police Officers Association Endorses Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez Growing Law Enforcement Support for Gonzalez’s Re-Election

IMPERIAL, CA — Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez announced today that he has been endorsed for re-election by the Imperial Police Officers Association (IPOA), representing law enforcement officers in the City of Imperial.

The endorsement is especially significant as his opponent serves as the Mayor to the City of Imperial.

“IPOA endorses Jeff Gonzalez because he participated in our process, his views and answers on public safety resonated with our members, and the association voted to endorse him,” said the Imperial Police Officers Association.

“Public safety is a top priority, and I’m honored to have the support of the Imperial Police Officers Association,” said Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez. “I’ve always believed that you don’t have to agree on everything to work together to deliver results for the people we represent. I’ll continue working with law enforcement, local leaders, and anyone willing to put our communities first. This endorsement is another example of putting people over politics and doing what’s right for our district.”

The IPOA endorsement adds to Gonzalez’s growing list of law enforcement support as he seeks re-election to the Assembly.
