Imperial County Public Safety Management Association Endorses Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez

INDIO, CA –  Today Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez announced the Imperial County Public Safety Management Association (ICPSMA) has endorsed his re-election to represent California’s 36th Assembly District, citing his continued support for Imperial County’s public safety community and his advocacy for local agencies.

ICPSMA President Murad Masad highlighted Assemblyman Gonzalez’s willingness to listen to the needs of local public safety agencies, advocate for Imperial County, and work to bring additional resources and funding opportunities to the region.

“Throughout your time in office, you have demonstrated your support for Imperial County and our public safety community,” Masad wrote.

The association represents public safety managers throughout Imperial County and noted that local agencies continue to face challenges related to staffing, equipment, infrastructure, training, and the increasing cost of providing essential services.

Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez said the endorsement reflects the importance of ensuring Imperial County’s public safety agencies have the resources they need.

“This endorsement is another reminder of how important it is to have a representative who will stand with our law enforcement and public safety professionals. I’m proud to be their partner in Sacramento, and I’ll continue fighting to bring the resources, funding, and support our public safety agencies need to keep our communities safe.”

The ICPSMA endorsement adds to a growing list of public safety organizations supporting Assemblyman Gonzalez’s re-election campaign.
